Sparkling wine lovers? Then we're waiting for you in the Monferrato area of Canelli (a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2014); we'll explore off-the-beaten-path routes accompanied by a cycling guide who will explain the surrounding area so you can fully appreciate this stunning wine-growing region.
- Cassinasco: In the Langa Astesana, Cassinasco, with its tower, offers among the most beautiful views of the woods stretching to the Apennines.
- PianCanelli: A spectacular scenic descent, a road traveled in the past by the Giro d'Italia that winds through forests and vineyards.
- Canelli: The home of Moscato, an aromatic grape that dominates in these areas, among sparkling and dessert wines. Here we will have lunch before continuing inside the unesco heritage.
- Calosso: Nestled among vineyards, a town famous for an almost unknown native grape, the Gamba di Pernice, and for being the landmark border between the Langhe and Monferrato.
