A captivating cycling itinerary winding through the rolling hills, scenic landscapes, and charming villages of the Lower Monferrato area near Asti, crossing vineyards, gravel roads, and quiet country lanes.
Among the unmissable highlights are some of the most breathtaking views and picturesque villages in Monferrato: the “Anfiteatro” vineyard at Poggio, Calliano Monferrato, the Perrona Big Bench, Alfiano Natta and its Belvedere , the Castello di Razzano — a charming historic estate where visitors can enjoy tastings of local wines —, Tonco, and Castell'Alfero.
The route combines paved and unpaved sections and is rated as easy to moderate (TC–BC), making it ideal for MTB, gravel bikes, and e-bikes. The total distance is approximately 50 km, with around 730 metres of elevation gain.
